Best weekend I’ve had in years, literally… all five of my kids (and I Love My Kids(tm)) were in over this weekend.
So happy they were able to make it.

Yay my surviving items that went to England and back are safe in my house.
Now for some serious defragging 🙂
Ok, FB is really REALLY freaking me out… I’m seeing a friend suggestion for a gent who had a flat next to me in Bournemouth, England in early 2006.
We swapped email addys and generally got along well, but other than that, we didn’t spend much time together, and certainly not online
Ok i’m creeped out… Facebook just suggested a friend for me – my landlord from a house we finished renting in 2005.
We have no common friends!

Lord, I don’t pray that you send a message to me, but that I am able to see Your message in all that surrounds me.
no, no, strike that, it’s the other way round
Interesting concept. If “interesting” I mean completely frightening.
Haven’t yet joined this FB group but I’ll be watching the idea closely.
And yes I am a George Orwell fan.
I like the article in this web page: http://personalmoneystore.com/moneyblog/2009/03/20/hr1388-mandatory-volunteerism/
I like the text of this contract posting. I hear the theme music of “Mission Impossible” whilst reading it.

Soulja Boy. Elevator music.
Never the twain shall meet.
Well not normally.
Take a peek and have a larf.
A while back the temps were below freezing.
Some clever guy here in England thought,
“O my it’s really really really cold. Probably cold enough to freeze bubbles. Someone should see what that looks like.”
And then he did.
The photos are really neat, especially the one where one of the bubbles bursts!

O my goodness this is SO FUNNY
Microsoft came out with a product called “SongSmith” that, when you sing into the mic, the software creates/selects music to match your singing style and beat and crafts a new tune featuring yourself.
Kind of like karaoke in reverse.
Well some clever monkeys started putting classic music videos through the SongSmith…! The software pulls out only the vocals to mix it in with its own music, so you can imagine what Eddie Van Halen would sound like if the nerds in Redmond produced the music for the band. How about AC/DC, Radiohead, Billy Idol? How ’bout Britney Spears’ “Toxic”? Now that’s toxic.
Well wonder no more, just visit this link to Youtube. Just don’t make the mistake of drinking anything while watching/listening. It could be dangerous to your keyboard :o)

I barely know the goal* of the game, but today I’m going to be a football fan :o)
